Calstock Wetlands
Enjoy getting close to nature from a footpath that takes you through a newly created area of intertidal wetland habitat; part of the Environment Agency’s Calstock flood defence improvement scheme.
Wacker Quay
Maintaining this historic waterfront location and trail for the benefit of nature and for all to enjoy.
Tamar Trails
TCT has a contract with West Devon District Council to maintain the trails. TCT also maintains the Pentillie permissive pathway and assets around the Tamar Valley Centre.

Dormouse Project
The TCT was involved in overseeing a dormouse monitoring project started on the Bere peninsula in 2023.
Heralds of Spring
The Tamar Valley is famed for its history of market gardening, which became a boom industry following the demise of the mines here.
Gunnislake Clitters Mine
An important source of tin, copper, arsenic and wolfram from the 1860’s to around 1920.
South Hooe
South Hooe is located on the Bere Peninsula in the tidal reaches of the River Tamar near Weir Quay on the Devon side of the river.
